Preparation
Many experts recommend preparation with a cafetière as the best, pure method of making coffee. The result of brewing it like this by hand is a strong aroma. First coarsely grind the beans. Then add a heaped tablespoon of coffee powder into the cafetière for each cup and pour over water that is hot, but not boiling. Stir well with a spoon so that the coffee can develop to the full. After four minutes, press down the metal filter built into the cafetière at a slow but even speed. This separates the coffee grounds from the coffee itself. Enjoy the drink as soon as it is ready.
