Pi Lo Chun
Grown in Taiwan, Pi Lo Chun, ‘the green snail of spring’, is one of the most delicate and sophisticated green teas there is. The dark-green, jade-coloured leaves reveal a characteristically spiral form, giving this special tea its name. Pi Lo Chun has a soft, mild flavour with a delicately aromatic and sweet, nutty aroma.
Preparation
Allow fresh, boiling water to cool to 80°C and pour over one slightly heaped teaspoon of tea for each cup.
Brewing time 2–3 minutes
Tip: Can be topped up two or three times
Storage
Tea is a sensitive natural product. It should therefore be kept in a cool, dry place away from strong-smelling items. This is especially true for green tea, which we recommend storing in the refrigerator. Tea caddies with a good seal are ideal for storage and make a perfect small gift for tea lovers.
