Tulsi Ginger and Orange
Tulsi is the Indian equivalent of our basil. It is considered by natives as the king of all herbs and is an inherent feature in every garden. Rooibos tea, verbena and dried pieces of ginger and orange zest are combined with exotic spices to create a deliciously fruity, spicy flavour. A wonderfully relaxing Ayurvedic tea.
Preparation
Loose leaf tea
Pour fresh, boiling water over one slightly heaped teaspoon of tea for each cup.
Brewing time 5–10 minutes
Pyramid teabags
Use one pyramid bag for every 250–300 ml – ideal for a small teapot or the Dallmayr glass teacup. Add fresh, boiling water.
Brewing time 5–10 minutes
Storage
Tea is a sensitive natural product. Loose leaf tea should therefore be kept in a cool, dry place away from strong-smelling items. Tea caddies with a good seal are ideal for storage or a small gift for tea lovers.
